The fact that it is August means we are officially 2/3 done with 2014. What a year it has been so far, with so many changes and things learned. I enjoy these posts because it allows me to go back and see what I've accomplished so far this year. I always knew 2014 would be different, but never could have imagined the things in store. At this point I am very confident with the work I am putting out. I'm beyond excited for every shoot and can't wait to carefully comb through the results for the best photos. The beginning of the year started strong and the shooting hasn't stopped. Last month I moved into a new house with a large living room I've been using as a studio. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to the various lighting methods you can do. This whole last year I have been practicing using my strobes/speedlites and learning how to shape/manipulate light. I am currently working on a few projects including: Sexy Socks, Film Project, and Reflection Project. Sexy Socks has been a work I progress for a bit now but currently adding new entries. Film Project and Reflection Projeft are new ideas and happen to be coming along nicely. Shooting often and learning from certain mistakes has really helped me so far. I recently acquired a backdrop setup and a massive 107" x 12 yards pure white seamless paper from Savage. A full set of those images will be on my next post. While this year is more than half way done I can only be excited for what is to come. Until next time
