2015 Review

Oh how time flies, or so they say. 2015 is behind us and but a memory. As I look forward to 2016, I can't help but realize it's going to be an interesting year full of ups and downs. I say downs because I am anticipating some off time to recover my knee if things go as planned. 2015 was really my breakout year with my photography. Looking back at the images I realized there were SO many shoots this year alone. Being able to spend an entire year learning lighting in my personal studio was invaluable. A glance through the images reveals a few hints. I started going for a more polished look overall and went out of my comfort zone with concepts and posing models. As an artist, I'm very excited for what's in store this year. I feel confident in my abilities and the network I've begun to build. At this point in my journey, it's not about new cameras or lenses. It's all about making solid art and connections that touch people. I have the physical tools needed to achieve this, but it's the constant creativity that requires the most exhausting efforts. To understand this, you must put yourself in a position of creating art from nothing. A simple thought or vision is the basis for all concepts but execution is key. Without action, nothing happens. I'll strive to continue moving forward, search new places, and bring my visions to fruition for myself but also for others to love or hate. Here are my favorite images from 2015, Until next time.
