Dirty Dale Days

I spent Halloween 2013 in Scottsdale, AZ. I like to call this place the dirty dale for multiple reasons, basically, it's so clean it's dirty. People party hard in the dale and this time around was no different. My reason for being there was simple. Relax, enjoy my company, and cover the Kaptn show later that night. What I didn't know was that this would turn out to be the most memorable Halloween yet. The day consisted of traveling up to Phoenix, checking in at the hotel, walking around old town, having lunch, laughing at old people, and visiting SMOCA (Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art). After a fun filled day the sun began to set and the night came alive. Pre gaming ensued and we were off to the show. I can't stress enough how much of a convenience getting a hotel right next to the venue was, especially if you plan to go hard. A quick lap around the surrounding area provided some interesting photo ops. Arriving at the Venue, the atmosphere was electric, music pumped, bass thumped, and asses were shaking everywhere. The Halloween cheer was in full effect. Costumes, masks, and face paint lined the dance floor, bar, and VIP area. DJ spins the tracks and everyone is moving, it's time for the costume contest. The contestants struts their stuff and eventually make way for the reason I came here, KAPTN. The man certainly has a presence upon gracing the stage. In usual fashion, his right hand man Dylan Dlonte is there keeping things hyped. Six songs later and everyone in the crowd still can't get enough of the most exciting up and coming artist of the year. What proceeded to happen after the show was more than I could have asked for. Talking with KAPTN and Dylan paved the way for some intersted projects in the future, so stay tuned. As usual, thanks for stopping by and showing love for my blog. Until next time
